Deaf Minisitry

The purpose of Deaf Ministry is to help bridge communication and cultural gaps between Hearing and Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing individuals in St. Louis Parish, making all feel welcome.  There is a growing number of St. Louis parishioners involved with the Deaf Ministry community within the Archdiocese of Baltimore!  At our parish, the 5:30pm Saturday Mass is sign language interpreted approximately twice a month, and either interpreted Masses or ASL Masses are offered at other parishes on alternate weekends.  For more information, or to get involved, please contact St. Louis parishioner Meg Ortel at megortel@verizon.net, or visit the Deaf Ministry page of the Archdiocesan website: www.archbalt.org/evangelization-catechesis/deaf-ministry.
