The 2009 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal

The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal is taking place now through February 22, 2009. You should have already received your mailing from Archbishop Edwin O’Brien asking you to participate in this year’s Annual Appeal.
The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal funds operations and services of the Archdiocese, as well as, the ministries we support at Saint Louis Parish. This year, our parish partners are:
- Sisters’ Academy of Baltimore
- Saint Mary’s in Lonaconing and St. Joseph’s in Midland – our Western Maryland Sister Parishes
- The Saint Louis Parish Needy Family Fund
- Saint Ambrose Parish in West Baltimore.
This year, the theme of the Appeal is, “Do everything for the glory of God.” Everything we do to live out our faith gives glory to God. Our contributions to the parish and the Archdiocese multiply the glory that we give to God by raising the funds that provide support to ministries and services that touch thousands of lives.
Our parish will receive 25% of each dollar contributed up to this year’s goal of $184,120. Once we make the goal, we will receive 50% of any additional money raised. As in years past, we will commit the amount we receive to our parish partners listed above.
Please answer the Archbishop’s request and make a pledge to this year’s Annual Appeal. All pledges can be billed up to ten monthly installments. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
