Working together to make our community better

Two of our Student Council officers recently presented a $500 check to Kyri Jacobs, President of the the Howard County Police Foundation and Lieutenant Tayna Riffle of the Howard County Police Department in support of the Foundation’s work. The check was the most recent philanthropic effort of the students who serve as officers and representatives of the Student Council.

The St. Louis Student Council runs monthly fundraisers such as themed out-of-uniform days in exchange for donations to various causes selected by the students during their meetings. Established in 1994, the Howard County Police Foundation is a nonprofit organization that aids the police department in funding and promotion of programs to improve public safety and quality of life in the community. A very worthshile cause!

We are proud of our students and families for trying to make our community better and grateful to the Howard County Police for their good work.
