Seeking to continue its tradition of academic excellence, the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools will introduce a new math curriculum during the 2013-2014 school year; this curriculum will be edited and revised as it is phased in during the next two years.  The content for the middle school grades will, however, remain unchanged in 2013-2014. The new math curriculum includes the Common Core State Standards  as well as other components specifically designed for our archdiocesan schools.  For information about the new math curriculum, please view the video by Dr. Barbara McGraw Edmondson, the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and read the Frequently Asked Questions prepared by the archdiocese.

The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) has also issued a Statement on the Common Core Standards.

We are committed to maintaining the exceptional math instruction that is a hallmark of a St. Louis education.
