Faith in the Family
Family-based Catechesis for families with children in K ~ Grade 8
OPTION 3: This option combines home-based catechesis with a variety of large group gatherings. Families who choose this option are required to work through the same RCL Publishing Company“Faith First” text at home that is used during Saturday morning classes.
Faith in the Family for 2008-2009 - families who choose this option are required to:
- Attend the MANDATORY meeting, for parents only, on October 5th from 2:00pm. to 3:30pm.
- Complete the appropriate grade level text for each student enrolled.
- Submit electronic chapter reviews for every chapter to familyreled@gmail.com.
- Each student must attend a minimum of five Faith in the Family Parish Gatherings to be offered throughout the year.
- Complete and submit electronic summary sheet for each of the five large group gatherings.(Adobe Reader)
Each student enrolled in this option is required to complete and submit all of the elements listed above by May 1, 2009, in order to advance to the next grade level.
Faith in the Family is filled on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of 160 families.
