Elementary Catechesis Options
OPTION 1: 9:00am ~ 10:30am on Saturday morning (K ~ Grade 5)
OPTION 2: 11:00am ~ 12:30pm on Saturday morning (K ~ Grade 5)
Both options offer a traditional classroom setting. Volunteer catechists and assistants will teach our Catholic faith to approximately 20 students using Resources for Christian Living Publishing Company "Faith First", prayer experiences, music, crafts and many other fun activities. Copies of all religious education texts and resources are available for parent review in the Office of Religious Education.
OPTION 1A: Elementary SPRED 9:00am ~ 10:30am on Saturday morning
SPRED, or Special Religious Education for elementary age children with developmental disabilities. The Catechist in this class has a degree in Special Education & also uses prayer experiences, music, crafts and specialized learning techniques to enhance the faith formation and sacramental preparation of elementary age children with special needs.
