Saint Louis is a unique parish. We have shared our faith and love with each other for over 155 years and our purpose has always been to build up the Body of Christ by living the Gospel message in our daily lives. This generous spirit is reason enough to celebrate our parish community.
Because of our size and the amount of ministries and programs we offer, we are constantly faced with the challenge of meeting the ever-growing needs of our parishioners. The size of our parish grows by 10% each year. Though we have expanded our ministries and programs to meet everyone’s needs, we simply do not have adequate space to continue to grow. To meet this challenge, we are going forward with the last phase of our Master Plan including the building of the Parish Activity Center and other projects described in this brochure. We will be raising funds along with other Catholics across the archdiocese in a combined campaign. This brochure explains these projects in more detail and is designed to help you understand our needs and the needs of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. I ask that you consider Saint Louis as a major priority in your charitable giving and reflect on how much this parish means to you and your family.
Be assured that I am grateful for your continued support of Saint Louis and for considering this request. May God continue to bless you and your loved ones.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Rev. Msgr. Joseph L. Luca
Embracing Our Mission
Saint Louis Parish stands as the flagship Catholic community in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, providing worship and ministry services to over 4,800 families; and educating almost 2200 youth in its religious education programs and our national Blue-Ribbon parochial school. Throughout its long and notable history, Saint Louis has continually supported the greater cause of humanity through outreach to two sister parishes in Western Maryland and Haiti, and has grown to offer over 65 active parish ministries that cater to the needs of the community at large. As we move to complete our Master Plan, we stand at a crossroads and envision the future for this vibrant Catholic community. We urge you to embrace the opportunity to share our rich legacy and to continue to provide for the future generations of our great parish.
